Lead Diesel Mechanic
Lead Diesel Mechanics are responsible for anything from routine maintenance work to specialized repairs. Mechanics are required to perform a range of duties and responsibilities that can differ from day to day depending on the jobs that they are assigned to. They job is to work closely and lead other mechanics to complete repair jobs in a timely and efficient manner.
CDL Truck Driver
This role is responsible for ensuring timely and complete delivery of orders or overseeing the quality and efficiency of delivery drivers and operations.
Summary of Duties:
•Record Keeping: Maintain a detailed log of working hours, mileage, and any incidents that occur in compliance with state and federal regulations, interacting with customers in a professional manner.
Truck Mechanic
Truck mechanics repair various types of trucks and diagnose issues to implement the proper solutions.
Summary of Duties:
• Schedule, Conduct, and Perform all preventative maintenance/repair services (PM services) to ensure the equipment operates safely.
• Conduct DOT Inspections, Suspension Repair and Replacement, Electrical Trouble Shooting, Heating and AC Unit Repair
Howe & Sturgis Russet Farm Manager
The purpose of this position is to direct all operational duties on a farm, including leading and directing employees, working alongside direct reports, process evaluation and improvement, problem resolution, ensuring quality and a safe work environment. The incumbent will have a hands-on role leading the field teams during planting, growing, and harvesting periods. During off seasons, the incumbent will prepare for the upcoming labor season, as well as work on equipment. Your team will consist of local employees and H2A employees during the growing season and this group will be larger during planting and harvesting seasons.
Farm Manager Trainee
Provides comprehensive training and hands-on experience in agricultural management, specifically in potato crop production and farm operations. This 2-year program is designed to develop future farm managers who will uphold Lennard Ag’s commitment to innovation, accountability, and high-quality production across multi-state operations. Position is based in Howe, Indiana. Requires 50%-70% travel across company locations, primarily Tarboro, North Carolina. Must be willing to relocate.
Shop Mechanic
Salary Grade: $19-25 an hour
Department: Maintenance
Summary of Duties:
• Maintain, repair, and overhaul farm machinery and vehicles, such as
tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems.
• Schedule preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure safe and effective operations
• Dismantle defective machines for repair, using hand tools.
• Reassemble machines and equipment following repair, testing operation and making adjustments, as necessary.
• Clean and lubricate parts.
